Forming a Team

A key component of Monster Galaxy P2E’s battle system is the concept of “formation.” Before entering into combat, players will have to position their team of (up to five) Moga on a nine-square grid. Players will need to consider not only attributes but also class designations when choosing a team formation for their Moga.
Each Moga has an assigned class that should be taken into consideration during battle preparations. Moga that belong to the Tank class tend to have high HP and defense, making them most effective in the front row. In this position, they can easily absorb damage and, therefore, protect the Moga behind them.
Healers, on the other hand, with their high attack and low HP, are better suited to the middle and back rows. Most enemies will prioritize attacking the front row, so lower-HP Moga are more likely to survive when placed further back. Since Moga possess both single- and group attack skills, choosing the appropriate formation can prevent contagion damage in battle and improve the survival rate.
In order to position their Moga for battle, players will choose one of seven different available formations.
When viewing the Formation interface, the “Formation” button will appear in the lower right corner of the screen. Tapping this button will give players access to the “Formation Configuration” interface, from which they will be able to select the desired formation for their Moga.
When the player switches between formations, the Moga’s position in the formation interface will change accordingly. Moga can only be placed in the unlocked slots available in any given formation.
Players can save their current formation by tapping the “Save Formation” button. That formation will subsequently be applied to the ensuing battle.
It is essential that players also take elemental affinities into account when forming their team of MOGA. Used strategically, a team of MOGA with the same element has the potential to be more powerful than a higher-level team of MOGA with different elements.
